The Situation: Jezebel had been working with WebXperts for over three years and needed a new look for their magazine. They recently were bought out by Dickey Broadcasting, who consulted with WebXperts to find out what would be the best way to streamline the look of what had become a very busy site. Their needs had grown and they wanted to implement a professional e-commerce system, ensuring that their customers' information would be secure.
The Solution: WebXperts redesigned the Jezebel site to make it clean and simple to navigate. Pop-up's were replaced with an event calendar. Ads were tastefully created as bottom banners, not harassing the user when they come to the site. 128 bit SSL was implemented in key areas to secure customers information. Jezebel's new site now reflects the new look of the magazine, highlighting subscriptions and commerce to provide a clear revenue stream for Dickey Broadcasting.
